Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I would like to know if it is still possible to sign up for the classes? A: Signing up is possible throughout the year, hence you are welcome to join at any time. Furthermore the membership is valid for one year starting from the date you sign up.

Q: Could you give me some more practical information about clothing and prices? A: Please check this section of the web site for practical information or, if you still have questions you are welcome to send an E-mail to the club address.

Q: I'm 21 years old without any experience in Martial Art. Is it too late to start? A: No it is never to late to start training in Kung Fu.

Q: I just wanted to check if it is OK for an English speaking person to attend the classes (I don't speak French). A: Of course it is possible to come for a trial session, even if you don't speak French. Although the class is mainly taught in French, much of the vocabulary used is English. For the rest just try to follow the moves, language doesn't really play a major role. In case you do not understand something in class, please don't hesitate to ask the instructor or one of the senior students for clarification.

Q: I would like to participate in a session. Do I need to make an appointment or can I just come by next time there is a class? A: There is no need to make an appointment. To confirm that classes are taking place on the day you wish to come, please refer to our 'News' section, which is updated with all potential changes to the normal training schedule.

Q: Do you offer kids classes? A: Since January 2008 we do offer a special children class. This class will contain exercises and move at a pace that suit children. There are also more people to help out and explain things in detail. For older children we do not however suggest that they should attend only this class but consider it rather a time where they can learn at their pace and with other kids. We encourage parents to watch a class and talk to the instructor to assess whether the training of either the kids or the normal class is suitable for their children.
