27 - 31 March 2010 - Kung fu and ski/snowboarding trip to the French Alps

1/07/2010 � 31/08/2010. Summer holidays. During the summer break there will be no children classes.UPDATE: During the summer we do not have the possibility to train at the School on Thursday. We will therefore train twice a week at the American Gym. The Sunday classes are moved to Thursday night. Thus: During the summer training times are: Tuesday 8.30 � 10pm; Thursday 8.30 � 10pm, both at the American Gym.

27 - 31 March 2010 � Kung fu and ski/snowboarding trip to the French Alps Sandra's instructor Matt is organising a trip to the French Alps (Portes du Soleil) combining Kung Fu training and skiing/snowboarding. There are still some places left. More information (price, address, registration etc.) is available in the members section or ask the instructors. Registration is possible until 15 February 2010.

18/12/2009 - 04/01/2010 � End of year holidays. No training will be held during this period. The last session in 2009 will be on Thursday 17 December and the first class in 2010 on Tuesday 5 January.

12/12/2009 � Grading in Brussels. The next grading will be held in Brussels on Saturday 12 December. We will organise a mock grading during normal class on Tuesday 17 November. Please remember that you should be ready for the mock grading. For those that cannot attend the mock grading please let us know before 15 November.

28/11/2009 � Master Lai Workshop & Cho Si Dinner. On Saturday 28 November Master Lai will hold a work shop for all grades. On Saturday evening the system holds its annual Cho Si Diner dedicated to the systems ancestors. Spaces for the diner are limited. Both these events will take place in London, meaning that transport and accommodation will have to be organised. Pleas see the members section for further information.

01/11/2009 � Bank holiday, no classes.As the American Gym is closed on bank holidays there will be no training on Sunday 1st November.

3-4/10/2009 � Matt in Brussels. On Saturday and Sunday Matt (Sandra's Instructor) will be in Brussels with 17 of his students. Classes will be held on Saturday and Sunday and we are looking for a place to eat and have a few drinks on Saturday night. Please find additional information in the members section.

13/09/2009 � Grading in London. The next grading will be held in London on Sunday 13 September. If you are of the opinion that you are ready and are available on that day please inform Sandra or Tim as soon as possible and before Thursday 27 August. On 1 September we will be organising a mock grading during the normal class. Those that wish to attempt the grading please insure that you are ready by then.

20-24/07/2009 � Sigung course in London. Sigung Quek will come over to London this summer and will teach during one week. It is the first time Sigung comes over to teach in London and a large number of participants are expected.

27-28/06/2009 � Grading in Brussels The next Grading in Brussels takes place on Saturday 27 June 2009. At this occasion Master Lai will come to Brussels and stay for two days. Classes will be held on both days. UPDATE: SATURDAY at 10.30 sharp at the gates of the School Saint-Jean-Baptiste de la Salle, 4 Rue Moris, Saint-Gilles. Grading +/- 2 hours, then training session (adults) +/- 3 hours. We will finish no later than 5pm. SUNDAY at the American Gym, children class at 11 as usual then +/-3h training session (adults). We will finish around 4pm. Bring your Sandwiches for both days. . Further information can be found in the members section

26/04/2009 � AFSS multidisciplinary training course. On Sunday 26 April from 10am until 2pm at 50 Rue Emile Wauters, 1020 Bruxelles. Fees: 9� adults, 5� children. The stage will replace the class on that day. Further information can be found in the members section

12/04/2009 � Classes cancelled.As the American Gym is closed on Easter Sunday the classes on this day are cancelled.

15/03/2009 � Grading in London.If you believe that you are ready to grade please revise your syllabus and inform Sandra. We will hold a �mock grading� on Sunday 15 February during normal class times. Please try to attend the mock grading, but for exceptional circumstances Sandra may be able to see you at another date. If you have not informed Sandra by Sunday 15 February you will not be able to grade.

22/12/2008 to 5/01/2009 - Christmas holidays. Last class on Sunday 21/12 and first class on Tuesday 06/01. Happy Christmas and a good New Year!.

13/12/2008 - Grading in Brussels The grading will take place at the Insitut Saint Jean Baptiste de la Salle, 19 Rue Moris, 1060 St Gilles at 11am. Please be at the school gates at 11 at the latest. We will all go inside together and the access will be locked after that. Please make allowance for parking as it is often difficult over there. We should have the chance to have the examiners teach a class afterwards finishing around 4pm. More important (!) information in the members section

22/11/2008 - NPC Competition and Cho Si Dinner - Cardiff, UK. From the 21st until the 23rd November 2008 we will travel to Cardiff to participate in the system's competition and the traditional Cho Si Dinner. Please inform us by 29th May via the E-mail adress if you wish to come along and if so please transfer a down payment of 20€ to the clubs account, mentioning 'Cardiff' and your name. Please note that you do not yet have to decide whether you will be competing or just come along to watch and support competing members. Further information is available on the forum.

12/10/2008 - Liège NPC Club. Great news for Nam Pai Chuan Belgium: the centre in Liège founded by Frederic Serruys opens its doors. The first class will be held on 12th October 2008. Congratulationas Fred and our best wishes! As Fred's students will be insured through NPCB you are all welcome to train at both the Brussels and Liège club and we hope to soon welcome some of Fred's students in Brussels. 4-5/10/2008 - Trip to Brighton. A number of us will go to train at the Sussex club in Brighton. Classes are cancelled.

21/09/2008 - Grading in London. If you wish to grade and think that you are ready please see Sandra as soon as possible. On 7th September Sandra will assess whether you are ready. It is expected that you know the techniques required for your grade.

1/09/2008 - Thursdays: new training times. Thursday classes will now be held from 8.30pm untill 10pm.

1/07/2008 to 1/09/2008 - Summer schedule. During July and August there will be no Sunday classes. Tuesday and Thursday classes will both be held at the American Gym at 8.30pm. Summer schedule is therefore: Tuesday 8.30pm until 10pm and Thursday 8.30 until 10pm at the American Gym.

28/06/2001 - Grading in Brussels.The Grading will start at 1 pm at the American Gym. Master Lai will be teaching a class afterwards. This is a great opportunity!

21/06/2008 - UPDATE: NPC Sussex in Brussels Matt will be teaching an extra long class from 3 to 6pm at the American Gym on Saturday. At 7.30 we will go for dinner at the Seoul Grill (rue capitaine crespel in Ixelles), please write an email to info@kungfubrussels.be by Thursday (19 june) evening to say if you will attend and if you will come alone or with partner. For those who volunteered to accomodate people at their place, more information can be found on the forum.

21/06/2008 - NPC Sussex in Brussels. On Saturday the 21st June a group of Sussex students and instructors will be coming over and Matt will teach a special class from arount 2 or 3pm. Saturday ight we will be going for some food and/or drinks. They will return home Sunday morning and they will need somewhere to sleep. I you have a spear bed and could take in some of the students please se the thread on the forum where you can also find further information.

18/05/2008 - Stage multidisciplinaire AFSS. On Sunday 18th May from 9.30am until 12.30pm at the 'Centre d’Arts Martiaux Jettois' (CAMJ), Rue Tilmont, 86 à 1090 Jette. Fees: 6€ adults, 4 € children. The stage will replace the class on that day.

23/03/2008 - Easter: class cancelled. As usual on bank holidays the American Gym is closed.

16/03/2008 - Grading in London. If you are available and wish to grade please see Sandra as soon as possible and at the latest on Thursday 21st of February. We will organise a mock grading on the 28th of February to enable her to evaluate whether you are ready or not. If you wish to grade you must attend the mock grading! If there are specific circumstances why you cannot attend you need to speak to Sandra about it by the 21st of February. Classes on Sunday the 16th of March are cancelled.

13-16/03/2008 - Matt is coming to Brussels. Matt will be teaching the Thursday class and a special Saturday class (15/03) at 1pm at the American Gym. The class on Sunday the 16th is cancelled due to the grading.

09/03/2008 - Multi-disciplinary AFSS Event. The 'Association Francophone de Sports de Selfdéfense' of which we are a member, organises an event from 10am until 3pm offering several workshops including Tai-Jitsu, Jiu-Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Karatedo, Karate, Nin-Jitsu, Judo, etc. Particpipation cost is 6€. Please inform Sandra by the 29th if you wish to participate. Further information in the Members Section. Classes at the American Gym are cancelled due/replaced by this event.

25/01/2008 – NPCB is now Member of the 'Association Francophone des Sports de Self-défense' (AFSS). Our club is now member of a young interdisciplinary martial arts association that is recognised at the Belgian national level. For further information click here.

13/01/2008 - Cildren classes. As from 2008 we will be holding children classes on Sundays from 11am until noon. The normal training will be maintained but pushed back half an hour (from noon until 1.30pm). It is possible to pay a specific monthly fee of 25€ for those that only wish to attend the children classes (please see the American Gym reception desk - see the map here). Trial sessions are available as usual through the American Gym reception. For further information please send an E-mail to the club address or simply drop in on one of the sessions.

24/12/2007 - 07/01/2008 - End of year holidays. There will be no classes during this period. The last class is on the Sunday 23rd of December and the first class will be on Tuesday the 8th of January 2008.
